Appointments
Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We request 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. We are aware that unforeseen events sometimes require missing an appointment. After missing your second appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, you may be charged a failed appointment fee.
Dental Radiographs (X-rays)
Dental radiographs are necessary for accurate diagnosis of many dental conditions. They allow the dentist to detect decay and diseases of the mouth, bone, face and jaw that may not be visible during an oral examination. Because radiographs help us detect dental conditions early, they play a critical role in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dental problems. Dr. Klein is honored that you would entrust him with your dental care and he takes this very seriously. To this end, Dr. Klein will not compromise your dental health, or the care he provides, by practicing without current radiographs. Patients refusing dental radiographs may be dismissed from Dr. Klein’s care.
All necessary radiographs will be taken during your initial visit unless we have received current radiographs of diagnostic quality from your previous dental office.
Insurance
Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the entire balance, paid-in-full. Please understand that your dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer, and the insurance company. While the filing of insurance claims is a courtesy we extend to our patients, all charges are your responsibility. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
